Our Privacy Promise

base64go.com is a privacy-first tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. All encoding and decoding happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your input never leaves your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect:

• Text you type or paste into the tool
• Files you upload or drag-and-drop
• Output generated by the tool
• Personal information of any kind
• IP addresses or browsing history

There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no cookies used for tracking. The only data stored locally in your browser is your theme preference (light/dark mode) and operation history - both saved using localStorage and never transmitted anywhere.

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save two things: your theme preference and your recent encode/decode history (up to 20 entries). This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time using the "Clear All" button in the History panel or by clearing your browser data.

Third-Party Services

This site uses Google Fonts to load the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. Google may collect usage data when fetching these fonts. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Hosting

The website is hosted on a static hosting platform. Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (such as request URLs and timestamps) for operational purposes. These logs do not include the content you process with the tool, as all processing happens on your device.
